The Indian Institute of Art & Design (IIAD) has been shaping creative minds since its establishment in 2015 in New Delhi. Partnering with Kingston University, London, IIAD offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and certificate courses, all aimed at nurturing design talent. IIAD Courses & Fees

IIAD offers UG and PG courses in the disciplines of design. There are five undergraduate courses and one postgraduate course available at IIAD Delhi. The graduates of IIAD Delhi get their final degree from Kingston University, London. In addition, the students also get a UGC-recognized bachelor’s degree. A total of 200 seats are available in IIAD Delhi’s undergraduate programmes under different specializations.

IIAD Admission 2025 

IIAD Admissions 2025 are now open for the academic session 2025-2026. The institute offers admission to both UG and PG courses through merit in the entrance examination conducted by IIAD Delhi. For undergraduate courses, students are selected based on their performance in the iDAT exam, which is held at various centers in both offline and online formats. Aspiring candidates for the Fashion Business Management program must appear for the iMAT entrance exam, followed by an online personal interview round.

How to Apply Online for IIAD Admission 2025?

The students who want to apply for IIAD admission 2025 in the online mode can follow the steps given below.

  • Visit the official website of IIAD Delhi Admission.
  • Select the Click Here to Apply tab under the preferred course classified as UG, PG and Design Bootcamp.
  • A new window will be opened displaying the “Application Form 2025”.
  • Fill in the necessary information like Name, Email Address, State, City, Course, Specialization, and the required Captcha.
  • Click on Register.
  • An application fee of INR 2500 needs to be paid.
  • The candidate shall receive an acknowledgment email from the Admissions Team with sample papers and all the relevant information.

How to Apply Offline for IIAD Admission 2025?

The students who want to apply for IIAD Delhi admission 2025 in the offline mode can follow the steps given below.

  • Interested candidates can visit the IIAD Delhi Campus.
  • Applicants can collect the application form and submit it along with the necessary documents to the IIAD Delhi admissions office.
  • An application fee of INR 2,500 must be paid at the time of submission of the application form.

IIAD has a limited number of seats for each programme so the students have to apply early and clear the respective examination to secure their seat in the first admission cycle.


IIAD Placement

IIAD Carrer Cell organizes various activities for the growth of its students such as HR summits, seminars, campus visits, etc. The institute encourages students to explore internship opportunities throughout the duration of their chosen program. The students in the third year are required to complete an internship of 8 + 16 weeks duration, at the end of which they are awarded credits based on their performance. IIAD Scholarship

IIAD provides merit-cum-means scholarships to deserving candidates. Students who successfully qualify for the iDAT/iMAT entrance test will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. The scholarship form will be made available along with the offer letter. IIAD scholarship amount will be based on the following criteria:

  • Statement of Purpose in Scholarship
  • Financial need of the student


Life at IIAD

The campus life of IIAD is filled with exposure for the design aspirants. The students are exposed to various activities at IIAD Delhi. The campus of the institute is spread over an area of 75,000 square feet. 

  • IIAD classes are held between 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
  • The timings for Saturday at IIAD are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Students engage themselves in multiple activities like dance, music, theatre, photography, poetry, etc.
  • IIAD conducts various trips to give practical exposure to the students in the design field.
  • IIAD has organized official trips to places like Fatehpur Sikri, Pushkar, Barmer, Varanasi, Pondicherry, Nagaland & Bhutan.
  • IIAD also conducts annual events for the recognition of students.

IIAD Hostel

IIAD offers accommodation facilities to boys and girls. The hostel rooms are well-furnished, equipped with modern amenities, and include meals. IIAD Delhi’s hostel is located in the East of Kailash, South Delhi, and is near to department stores, restaurants, cafes, and movie theatres.
