Admission into IIIT Hyderabad takes place through multiple modes. One of the modes of admission into BTech is through JEE Main. IIIT Hyderabad JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for BTech was 1582 rank for CSE course and 4350 rank for ECE course. In IIIT Hyderabad Admission 2024 there were only 2 rounds of counselling. IIIT Hyderabad tries to ensure that financial challenges do not hinder any chances of a student to get access to quality education. To support this mission, IIITH offers financial assistance option:​

Alumni-Funded Financial Support: IIITH alumni have established a pay-it-forward fund to assist students based on financial need. In the pay-it-forward scheme, recipients of the Fund agree to fund another student’s tuition fees after graduating and securing employment.

  • Financial support is available from the second semester for students whose family income is below ₹8 lakhs per annum, subject to availability and meeting stipulated criteria.​
